Devotions

In this section you’ll find a selection of prayers that can form part of an everyday or occasional practice. Some of the prayers that are offered here – or alternative versions that may be quite similar – are discussed in more detail in An Introduction to Gaelic Polytheism and/or Saining for Gaelic Polytheists.

Devotions like the ones that are outlined here can be an important part of any Gaelic Polytheist’s practice, if only for the fact that they can be a good way to not only build, but also then maintain a solid relationship with the gods, spirits, and (or) ancestors. How often you choose to pray is entirely up to you, and so is the question of who you might want to pray to, or how to address them.
